A synonym for durability and modernity - ceramic tiles by Röben

22 of April '24

From the series "Roofs, roof accessories - trends 2024"

Röben has long been recognized in the construction industry, offering products that combine quality, durability and aesthetics. The brand's roof tiles are made of the highest quality materials, which guarantees their longevity and resistance to the harshest weather conditions.

The key advantage of Röben brand clay roof tiles is the material from which they are made. This is high-quality clay, which undergoes a firing process at temperatures of more than 1,000 degrees. This process gives clay tiles exceptional resistance in varying weather conditions, making them an excellent choice for decades.

Aesthetics for years to come

Röben clay roof tiles offer unparalleled aesthetics, available in several models and colors. Their surface is additionally covered with a layer of engobe or glaze. Thanks to this, the tiles gain a solid and durable protective coating, and their color retains its depth and intensity for many years, not fading under the influence of sunlight and gaining resistance to biological aggression. Such products will perfectly protect the building, their appearance will be aesthetic, and the roof will be long-lasting.

Ecological solutions

Another significant advantage of ceramic tiles is their impact on ecology. The production of Röben ceramic roofing is based on the use of natural raw materials and energy-efficient production processes. From the moment they are manufactured, through their service life, to their replacement or disposal, they are safe for the environment. It is also worth noting that they are fully recyclable, which contributes significantly to reducing the carbon footprint.

Durable and insulating

The durability of Röben clay tiles is their exceptional resistance to mechanical damage and biological corrosion. The natural clay from which they are made has properties that prevent the growth of mosses and lichens, which is especially important in damp or shaded conditions. This makes Röben clay roofs require much less maintenance compared to other types of roofing, and this directly translates into long-term savings for homeowners and a reduced carbon footprint.

In addition, Röben roof tiles have excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, which translates into occupant comfort and significant savings related to heating and air conditioning of the building.

Modern solutions

For the roofs of modern buildings, Röben's most frequently chosen model is the BERGAMO tile. It is characterized by a flat surface. Its simple form gives a uniform effect on the roof, which perfectly suits modern architecture with a minimalist style. It guarantees the tightness of the covering, and its high technical parameters ensure frost resistance.

Another recommendable clay tile is PIEMONT with a slender shape, resembling a flattened wave. It is distinguished by a large sliding tolerance of as much as 38 mm, thanks to which it has become the model most often chosen for renovated roofs. The offset of this tile allows it to adapt to the existing rafter framing.

The larger format is distinguished by the solid, extremely durable and resistant MONZAplus. The dimensions of this model are 464 × 304 mm. Thus, only about 9.5 tiles are needed to cover one square meter of roof. This significantly speeds up roofing work and is an economical solution - fewer tiles, means lower costs.

The latest model in the range is the MILANO tile. It is characterized by a large sliding tolerance of as much as 41 mm, which makes it easy to adapt to the existing rafter framing without having to replace it. It is therefore an excellent tile for roofs undergoing renovation. In addition, it has been equipped with deeper and at the same time higher locks, which even better protect the slope from rainwater. Its timeless form in a larger size, will be perfect for both the roofs of buildings maintained in the classic style, as well as more contemporary.

However, it is not only the technical and aesthetic parameters that speak for the brand's clay roof tiles. The company recently introduced an innovative system for mounting photovoltaic or solar panels, which is compatible with all the tiles in its range. The system allows for easy and non-invasive installation. The ability to adjust the tile bracket for mounting the panels allows it to be used on different batten spacing, which is especially important for installation on existing roofs. Only simple operations are carried out on the roof: screwing the bracket and replacing individual tiles, without cutting them. The bracket is permanently attached to the roof truss, which eliminates the transfer of loads to the roof slope.

The brand's products respond to the growing demand for integrated solutions that combine traditional construction techniques with modern energy technologies, promoting sustainability and an eco-friendly approach to construction.
